RAF Northolt is designated as MOD property and as such has a strict control of entry policy which must be complied with. RAF Northolt remains under the control of the Station Commander at all times. The Station Commander has the authority to deny access to RAF Northolt to anyone. On a day to day basis, this authority is delegated to the Station Security Officer.
As a condition of entry to RAF Northolt, all vehicles and individuals may be subject to search on entering or departing RAF Northolt, or at any point during their visit in order to maintain the security posture of the Station. Refusal will result in access to the Station being denied or removed.
All passengers, drivers, close protection staff, aircrew or other visitors must produce valid photographic ID (passport or driving licence) for inspection at the Whitehouse Gate Guardroom prior to entering the Station. Personal details will be checked against the flight manifest before access is permitted. Passengers and aircrew must comply with any requirements to hold or return temporary access passes, or to be escorted onto RAF Northolt.
